Dr. Barile is a professor in the department of psychology at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He also serves as the Interim Director of the Social Sciences Research Institute. Previously, Jack worked as a research fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA. Jack's work includes the study of neighborhood environments as well as evaluations of community and educational programs.
